Samira Yennube Kombat, a product of the University for Development Studies (UDS) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Business Studies, has been selected to represent the North East Region in this year's Ghana’s Most Beautiful Pageantry.
Samira Yennube Kombat, who goes by the stage name Yennube , in an interview said, she was privileged to be representing the people of the North East region in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful. North East Region is participating for the second time in the contest as a result of the new regional creation by the President of the Republic of Ghana, and she is privileged to be the second person to hold the fort for the North East Region.
Miss Kombat is a bold, beautiful, eloquent and results-oriented young lady who holds her North Eastern origin in high esteem, and as such, she humbly appeals for the support, blessings and prayers of the people of the region to help her annex the crown for the region in this year's contest.
Miss Kombat indicated that because of her passion for girl child education, she worked as a team member of the Early Grade Reading Assessment program in Ghana, powered by Ivy Lead Consult Africa in partnership with Social Impact and USAID from the year 2017 to 2019.
Adding that the project sought to promote girl child education in the area of reading, literature and grammar.
She is a member of the Globally Inspired Generations (GIGs Ghana) working on a project dubbed “Back to my school campaign” with a focus on girl child education.
“I want to assure the good people of the North East Region that with their support I will bring the crown to our home region at the end of the competition.”
The North East Region has beautiful sites such as the Nakpanduri Escarpment , Buyuori Cave in Yikpabongo and other tourist attractions.
